Photography: Saturday Photo Shoot

I came home from work and grabbed the wife and headed out for the day. We had breakfast in Santa Ysabel, then started the day of shooting. I hit some poppies on the side of the road on my way to the Santa Ysabel Casino. The casino parking lot has the greatest view of the valley, which I hit thanks to a tip from my wife. Then we headed to Lake Henshaw. I got some beautiful shots of the other side of the valley and of the lake. By this time, i believe that the Scrub Jays have sent out a memo... BEWARE: man shooting Jays today! I think they thought I would have a gun, but I was only armed with a Nikon D80. So I only got one somewhat good pic. Then with my wife's idea, we headed out to Oceanside California. The rest of the night was awesome, including a parade of boats for Christmas!
